Two Leaders, One Mission: Nathan Imperiale and Philip Leider on Synovial Sarcoma
Our Chairman of the Board of Directors, Nathan Imperiale, was recently invited by Philip Leider, President of the Board of the Sarcoma Alliance, to present about the Synovial Sarcoma Foundation in a live webinar hosted by the Sarcoma Alliance.
The conversation covered the Foundation’s origin story, our active research programs, and the resources available to patients and families navigating a synovial sarcoma diagnosis. From the International Tumor Board to the Registry and Biorepository, from TumorGlow to our mRNA vaccine program, Nathan walked through the work the Foundation is doing and what it means for the community right now.
“We see our jobs as being air traffic controllers, so to speak, for the disease – making sure patients get to the right institution, the right specialist, the right clinical trial at the right time.”
— Nathan Imperiale, Chairman of the Board, Synovial Sarcoma Foundation
