Black Flag Sarcoma Race Team Takes the Track for Awareness

A black and yellow race car with a large rear wing drifts around a track corner, kicking up tire smoke. The car has the number 16 and sponsor decals. The scene is viewed through a wire fence.

The Black Flag Sarcoma Race Team is shifting into high gear, using motorsports as a platform to raise awareness for Synovial Sarcoma. The team’s new Super Lap Battle Lotus, will be wrapped with the molecular structure of TumorGlow, the groundbreaking imaging technology being developed at Penn Medicine to improve tumor detection during surgery.

This initiative aims to bring visibility to the need for increased Synovial Sarcoma research while celebrating resilience and community. The Black Flag Sarcoma Race Team will be competing in racing events, engaging supporters, and sharing Callan’s journey through motorsports.
