Current Patient to Drive Relationships and Support for the Synovial Sarcoma Community
[Philadelphia, PA] – 12/12/25 – The Synovial Sarcoma Foundation (SSF) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Julie Kramer as our new Community Engagement & Partnerships Manager. With a wealth of experience in advocacy and nonprofit communications, and as a survivor of synovial sarcoma, Julie is uniquely equipped to support the foundation’s mission and the needs of our patient community.
Diagnosed in 2014, Julie navigated her diagnosis through multiple treatments and has been NED (No Evidence of Disease) since 2017 after being treated for her third recurrence. Her resilience and passion for support will be pivotal as the foundation continues its mission to improve the lives of those affected by synovial sarcoma.

“We are honored to welcome Julie to our team,” said Chas Spence, Executive Director of the Synovial Sarcoma Foundation. “Her personal experience and professional expertise will be invaluable as we strive to create a supportive network for patients and their families facing this challenging diagnosis.”
